Become a certified diver in just 3 days. The PADI Open Water Diver course is the perfect way to start your underwater adventure, providing you with the essential skills and knowledge to dive safely and confidently.


Once certified this internationally recognised certification allows you to dive with your own buddy independent of a dive professional to a depth of 18 meters, opening the door to a world of breathtaking marine life and beautiful dive sites around the world.


The course includes dive theory which is completed online in your own time prior to your start date. Confined water training to master essential skills, and 4 open water dives to apply what you've learned in real dive conditions.

Important Information
Prior to commencing your dive course, you are required to complete the self-assessment Student Diver Medical Declaration. A YES answer to questions 3, 5 or 10 indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you must consult a medical practitioner to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive. Your medical must be completed before starting your practical training with The High Dive Gili Gede. To obtain a copy of the form CLICK HERE.

  • DAILY SCHEDULE:
    • Course schedule (9am – 2.30pm approx)

    • Day 1 – Confined water training, theory

    • Day 2 - 2 ocean dives, theory

    • Day 3 - 2 ocean dives, final exam


  • PREREQUISITES:

    • Minimum 10 years of age

    • Medically fit to dive 

    • Comfortable in the water
